Russia lifted entry restrictions for foreigners

Measures to restrict the entry of foreigners into Russia, which were used to combat the spread of COVID-19, have been significantly softened.

Foreigners from any country can again enter Russia by plane or by sea without restrictions on the purpose of the trip.

In the near future, Russian visa centers will resume accepting documents for issuing visas to foreigners in the manner that was in force before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The requirement for a negative PCR test to enter Russia still remains.
